Words as Windows: writing, listening, and sharing in a new year

January 20 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm EST

Words as Windows:  Writing, Listening, and Sharing in a new year.

Transitions, such as starting a new year, can be a  place of discomfort, emotions, confusion, but also of growth and healing.  Words, the practices of writing, listening and sharing, can provide us with windows of insight and tools for navigating these spaces.

Join Andrew Wood the evening of Tuesday, January 20th as he invites you to dip your toe into playing with and listening to your own words. Creating within the rhythm of a Haiku — 5,7,5 — you have a framework in which to pay attention to what is stirring in and rising up in your as you begin this new year. Putting those words into a Haiku is a way for you to respond and pay attention to your inner voice and the Spirit within. We will have time to create several Haiku’s with an optional time to of sharing by adding voice to our own words as well as holding the words of others.

We will gather Tuesday, January 20th from 4:30-5:30 Pacific / 6:30-7:30 pm CST / 7:30-8:30 pm EST

This event has a 3-tiered payment option, but if cost is prohibitive, just register and available scholarships will be applied.
